What you can expect from Gigcore, what it expects from you, and what happens when someone breaks that.
UPDATED 5 SEPTEMBER 2026These terms are the agreement between you and Grzegorz Brzozowski, who runs Gigcore. Making an account or using the app means you accept them. If you do not, do not use the service.
How your data is handled is set out separately, in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.
You must be at least 13, and old enough in your own country to agree to an online service without a parent โ 16 in several EU member states. You must not be barred from using the service under any applicable law, and you must not be someone whose account was previously suspended.
Your shows, your notes, your scores, your photos and your clips stay yours. Nothing here transfers ownership of any of it.
To run the service we need permission to handle it: by posting, you grant Grzegorz Brzozowski a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, resize and display your content for the purpose of operating Gigcore โ showing it to you, showing it to people who follow you where you have chosen to share it, and showing the parts your public profile carries. That is the whole of it. It is not a licence to advertise with your photos, to sell them, or to pass them to anyone else, and it ends when you delete the content or the account.
You are responsible for what you upload. By uploading it you confirm that it is yours to upload, that you have the rights to any picture or clip in it, and that showing it here breaks nobody's rights.
Keep your own copies of anything that matters. This is a diary, not a backup service.
Do not post, and do not use the service for:
And do not attack the service itself: no scraping, no automated access, no reverse engineering, no probing for weaknesses, no attempt to reach an account, a file or a moderation tool that is not yours, no getting around a rate limit, and nothing that degrades the service for anyone else.
Every profile, show and photo can be reported from inside the app, and every account can be blocked. A block works both ways: neither of you appears to the other in the feed, in search, on a profile or in a follow list, and any follow between you is dropped. It is reversible from Profile โ Blocked accounts.
Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Content that breaks the rules above is removed; an account that keeps posting it is suspended. Child-safety reports are handled first, and are passed to the relevant authority where the law requires it.
A removal is global โ the content goes for everyone, its owner included. A suspended account stops being readable anywhere: app, feed, and public page alike.
Reporters are not told the outcome. What happened to another account is not theirs to know, and a queue that answers differently depending on the result is one people learn to game. If your own content or account was actioned and you think it was wrong, write to us and it will be looked at again.
Your profile has a web page at gigcore.app/u/your-name that anyone with the link can read, and that search engines may index. It carries your username, bio, avatar, counts, stats and recent shows. It does not carry your email address or any photo you have uploaded.
Post accordingly. If you would rather none of it were public, deleting the account takes the page down with it.
Artist names and pictures come from Spotify's API. They belong to their owners and are shown for identification, not endorsement. Gigcore is not affiliated with Spotify, with any artist, venue or festival, and does not sell tickets or promise that any event will happen.
Gigcore is free. There is nothing to buy inside it, and no advertising in it. That may change one day, but not retroactively and not without notice.
It is provided as it is, without any warranty beyond what the law insists on. Features may change or be withdrawn, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. No uptime is guaranteed.
Nothing here takes away the rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of the country you live in.
You can leave whenever you like. Deleting your account โ in the app, or on this site โ removes your profile, every show and festival you kept, your photos, your ratings and your follows, permanently and at once. Guest accounts have no email to confirm with, so those are deleted from inside the app.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will do so without notice where the breach is serious โ child safety above all. Where it is not, you will be told what happened.
The service can also be discontinued altogether. If that happens you will be given reasonable notice and a way to take your data with you.
To the extent the law allows, Grzegorz Brzozowski is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for content lost because you did not keep your own copy of it. Liability is not excluded for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law โ including your rights as a consumer.
The service holds what other people write. We do not endorse it and are not responsible for it, though we do remove what is reported and breaks the rules.
These terms are governed by the law of Poland. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in your own courts.
Consumers in the EU can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform. Either way, writing to us first is usually faster.
These terms will change as the service does; the date at the top says when they last did. A material change will be announced in the app before it takes effect, and carrying on using the service after that means accepting it. If you would rather not, delete your account.
